The NATO-Ukraine Defence Innovators Forum was held in Vilnius on 1-2
June 2026 to further strengthen cooperation and partnerships between
NATO and Ukraine. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Defence of Lithuania,
Ukraine’s Brave1 and NATO, the event highlighted how NATO learns from
Ukraine’s expertise in innovation, providing tangible benefits for
Euro-Atlantic security.

Services in NATO (COMEDS) convened its 65th Plenary in Skopje, North
Macedonia. The Plenary brought together Allies, partners and observers
to strengthen cooperation and address key priorities within military
medicine.

On 29 May 2026, Japan finalised its contribution of personnel to the
command in Germany responsible for NATO’s Security Assistance and
Training for Ukraine (NSATU). NSATU, based in Wiesbaden, continues to
provide essential support to Ukraine, through its coordination of the
delivery of equipment and training to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

NATO Radar and Communication site in Bolungarvík.
